Obituary of Bernice Zabransky

DUE TO WEATHER THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN CHANGED:

Blanche “Babe” Zabransky (née Drozdowski) of Bronx, NY.   Born April 17, 1929 passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2018 surrounded by her husband and daughters.


Loving and devoted wife to her husband of 70 years Charles J Zabransky.  Beloved  Mom to Louise Zabransky and Diane Quigley (Jimmy).  Cherished Grandma to Rich Shelley(Jenny), Keri Haynie(Jared), Jackie Quigley (Cliff), Brian Quigley and Nicole Quigley.  Treasured Great Grandma to Kayle, Max, Sam, Krew, Kaysen, Van, Cal and Reagan.


She was retired from a Secretary position at Seamen’s Bank.  Blanche was always on the go.  She loved to spend time with her family, travel with her husband and walk with her pal Viola.  Enjoyed listening to music especially her Elvis.  Blanche was loved and admired by all who knew her. Her selflessness, caring ways, and giving heart were just some of her many wonderful qualities. 


Her absence is deeply felt.  She will live forever in our hearts.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00- 9:00 P.M. at Hodder Farenga Funeral Home, 899 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704. 

Mass of Christian Burial  will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:45 A.M. at St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY

Entombment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
