Obituary of Patricia McEntegart
Patricia’s love did not end with her death. She was a wonderful, generous person and will never be forgotten. She always had a smile for you and a kind word and a gentleness about her that put everyone around her at ease. There was a huge heart in that petite frame.
She loved to talk, but she also listened. She always had something to share; be it the love of her family, her extensive travels, her many interests, and her concern for those she cared about. There was never too much silence in her company. She was a great love, sister, aunt, friend and neighbour. I could continue to make a list of everything about her, but she was the one who was the list maker! There is a huge hole in any heart that loved her.
“You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly – that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.” (Anne Lamott)
