Katherine married Jerome Schuler in 1944 and raised their children in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. She was predeceased in 1969 by her husband Jerome. In 1983, Katherine married Herbert MacNeal and moved to Glen Rock, NJ. After Herbert passed away in 1987, Katherine moved to Armonk to live with her son Michael and his wife Angela.
Katherine enjoyed her dance classes well into her 80’s with Selma’s Girls at the North White Plains YMCA. She enjoyed traveling with the New Horizons Group from Saint Barnabas and visited many exciting destinations in foreign countries and the United States, including Alaska at the age of 90.
