Obituary of Joseph P. Carey

Joseph "Joey" Patrick Carey of New York City, and Woodlawn New York, passed suddenly at age 40, on March 17, 2019. 

He is survived by his mother, Ann Carey, his sister Mary Carey Creighton, brother-in-law Kieran, as well brothers Billy along with David and sister-in-law Christine of Florida. He joins his sister Eileen Carey and father William in eternal life.

Affectionally known as "Uncle Joey" he is also survived by nephew Nick Sabino, his wife Danielle and baby girl Vera, as well as Kieran Jr. and Anastasia Creighton and nephews Matthew and Luke Carey.

Joe also leaves his girlfriend Suzanne O'Halloran of New York City, as well as his extended Luke's Bar and Grill Family. A proud resident of Bainbridge New York he had many dear friends far-and-wide from Manhattan to the Bronx. 

He also leaves his beloved companion, his “child”  puppy Spanky Carey.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 2:00 - 9:00 P.M. in Hodder Farenga Funeral Home, 899 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:45 A.M. in St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers, NY
