Obituary of Claudio Morrone

Claudio Morrone passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the presence of his loving family.  

Claudio, originally from Italy, was born on July 7, 1955 to Maria Trieste and Stanislao Morrone.   He is survived by his wife Louisa, son and daughter-in-law, Marco and Christina Morrone and daughter and son-in-law, Cristina and John Dodaro along with 4 grandchildren Isabella, Gino, Luciano and Leo.  

Claudio immigrated from Italy to the United States in 1972 in search of the American Dream.  He then found the love of his life in the Bronx, NY, married and had two children.  He worked in construction all his life.  On September 11, 2001, he volunteered to work with the first responders to aid and help with tragic WTC attack. As a result, he was later diagnosed with an incurable disease that took his life.  

Claudio will always be remembered as a kind, genuine, compassionate, generous and loving man.  He was loved by many and will forever live in our hearts.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 2:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. in Farenga Bros. Funeral Home, 920 Allerton Avenue, Bronx, NY 10469

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bronx, NY

Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY
