Obituary of Thomas J. Hynes

Tommy Hynes passed away peacefully on Friday October 22nd surrounded by his loving family.  Tommy was born in Galway City, Ireland.

A devoted husband to Kathy (née McDonnell), adoring father to his daughters Patricia (David), Nora Jean (Brendan), Barbara (Mark) and his sons Jimmy (Kelly) and Tommy Jr. (Maureen).

Loving grandfather to Justin, Micayla, Tommy, Erica, Mark, Brendan, Chloe, Presley, Patrick, Carley, Noah, Molly, Madison and Morgan.

He is survived by his sister Barbara Newell and many nieces and nephews both here in the US, Ireland, England and Scotland.  Pre-deceased by his brothers Sean, Larry, Arthur,  James, and his sisters Mary , Bina and Nora.

Tommy worked for Pepsi Cola  for many years.  He had many close friends from the Bronx,  Yonkers, Rockaway  and  Ireland.

Tommy cherished his time with his family especially his grandchildren.

His smile and gentle ways will be missed by all.

Viewing will be held Tuesday October 26 from 2-4 & 6-9 PM in Hodder Farenga FH, 899 McLean Ave., Yonkers.
