Obituary of Daniel Kealy
Daniel J. Kealy passed away on December 14th at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret, his brother Kevin, and nephews: Nolan Kealy, Ryan Kealy (Annie), Ryan Sullivan (Christine), Michael Sullivan (Dawn), and Timmy Sullivan (Mallory) as well as many great nieces and nephews. Danny was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Michael Kealy and his brother, Michael Kealy, Jr.
Danny worked for many years as a train operator for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority until his retirement. His family and friends will always remember him as an outgoing and upbeat guy who was well loved, not only by his family, but by his many co-workers and friends he met along the way. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Giants, and Rangers and loved playing softball which he did up until a few years ago.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. in Hodder Farenga Funeral Home, 899 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704.
The Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 A.M. at St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY 10470
Interment will follow in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY
