Obituary of Alfred Joseph Castorina
It is with great sadness that the family of Al Castorina, 56, born on March 10, 1965, of Bronx, NY, announce his passing. Al, surrounded by his loving family at his bedside, went to be with his Lord on January 18, 2022. He is survived by his beloved parents, Sal and Angie Castorina; his three children, Kristine Castorina, Jennie Venno and Cyndi Cuevas; grandchildren, Veronica, Jensen, Yesenia, Damien, Ayanna; sister, Graceann Castorina; nephew, Anthony Schnell; niece, Nicole Schnell; great-nephew, Leo and his loving and loyal dogs, Katie and Hendrix.
In a short time on this earth, Al was able to accomplish most, if not all, of his dreams and goals; raising a loving family, traveling, owning a bar/restaurant (Pinstripes) and enjoying his summers on his boat, “The Angelina,” which he proudly named after his mom.
Al, also known to many as “Bundy,” was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, partner and friend. He was always respectful and a gentleman with a giving heart and a loving soul. He always remembered everyone’s birthday, celebrated everyone’s accomplishments and was truly a man you can count on. Al will always be remembered and the memories we all share of him will allow him to live on in all of our hearts.
