Obituary of Noreen O'Leary

Noreen O'Leary, 81, died on May 1, 2022 at Montefiore North Hospital in the Bronx, NY. She succumbed to her lung disease after a long fought battle. Noreen was born on Oct 2, 1940 . She was from Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland. She was the youngest daughter of Jeremiah and Bridget O'Malley. Noreen was predeceased by her 8 siblings. At the age of 18 years old she arrived in New York in 1958 and moved to the Tremont section of the Bronx.

She was married in 1968 to Michael O'Leary (late) and had three sons: Michael, Kieran and Timothy. Noreen's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Her children and extended family were her pride and joy.

Noreen is survived by her three sons and Daughter in law Caroline, Daughter in law Patricia, Grandson Padraig, Granddaughter Saoirse and Grandson Connor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10:45 A.M. in St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY
