Obituary of Irene Eichel

Irene Eichel, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 17^th.  Lifelong resident of Yonkers, she was the daughter of John and Camille Schaumann. Irene was happily married for over 50 years to Herbert Eichel. She worked for many years at St. Joseph’s Seminary. She was a homemaker and devoted mother to 4 children.  Irene leaves behind;  Carolann (Joe) Forte, Diane Eichel, Thomas (Patricia) Eichel and Ellen (Joe) Eacobacci as well as nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her two sisters, Virginia Gorman and MaryJane Schaumann. She was predeceased by her brother John Schaumann and Sarah Keating.  

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:45 A.M. in St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY
