Obituary of Catherine Rogers

Catherine Rogers, age 94, of Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2022.

Catherine (a long-time resident of Yonkers) was born on October 10, 1927 to Stanley & Ann Zelinsky.

Catherine was preceded in death by hwe husband, Lee; sisters, Mary, Olga & Stella; & son, James.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Kathleen Goldstein & Anne Mazzacappa, son-in-laws Howard & Thomas, daughter-in-law, Cynthia Rogers; two grandchildren, Debra, Robinson (Kempton) & Daniel Goldstein (Denise); and four great-grandchildren, Deanna & Dean Goldstein and Tyler & Kyle Robinson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker, a devoted member of St. Barnabas Church, and volunteer at St. Stephens Thrift Shop. Catherine had a passion for sewing, crocheting and cooking.

Catherine loved her family deeply and was the light of the Rogers Family, she will be missed by all.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. in Hodder Farenga Funeral Home, 899 McLean Avenur, Yonkers, NY 10704

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 10:45 A.M. in St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemerery, Bronx, NY
