Obituary of Catherine Thomas

Catherine Patricia Thomas passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022, at the age of 80

Predeceased by her parents John and Lillian Doherty and her sister, Rosemarie Goodnough. Left to
cherish her memories are her children: Joseph, Eileen (Freddy) Salazar, and Kevin (Dawn); her
grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Evan, Lillian, Abigail, Ryan, Julia and Ashley; Her great grandchildren Mia and Elijah, her nephew and niece John and Catherine;
great nephews and great nieces: Christina, John, Caitlin, Mathew and Meghan.

She was a huge New York Mets and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition, she loved dancing and listening to Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. in Hodder Farenga Funeral Home, 899 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY

Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 10:45 A.M. in St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY

Interment will follow in St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY
