Obituary of Thomas J. Grant Sr.

Thomas J Grant Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend
passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving children at the age of 91 on Feb. 16, 2023.

Loving husband of MaryAlice (deceased). He is survived by his brother Robert (Joanne), 6 children Marie (Dan), Barbara (Tom), Margaret (Charlie), Patricia (Mike), Theresa (Joe) and Tom Jr. (Geraldina), 10 grandchildren - Richie (Marvin), Brendan (Tanya), Jackie (Jessica), Patrick (Erin), Stephen, MaryAlice
(Adrien), Kaitlyn, Alex, Charles, Kevin and 1 great granddaughter (Bryna) and baby girl Bruno expected in May.

Professional baseball player, umpire, and referee. Longtime member of NY Giants football family, US
Marine (veteran), active member of St. Barnabas parish and longtime supporter of Cardinal Hayes H.S.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Cardinal Hayes H.S. Bronx, NY.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Monday, February 20, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00  P.M. in Hodder Farenga Funeral Home, 899 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:45 A.M. in St. Barnabas Church, Bronx, NY

Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY
